In the late 1940's - early 1950's the armament was modified by the removal of the star-shell mounting, the removal of the twin Bofors and all Oerlikon mountings, and in the installation of 5 single Bofors Mk.7 and 2 Mk.2 STAAG mountings aft.  The depth charge throwers and rails were replaced by a single Squid mounting.
